$200 to $500 a video, 30 to 60 seconds long
ConductScience makes research software and lab equipment. We pay $200 to $500 for each video we accept. You do not need followers, because we can run your video as an ad from our own accounts. We agree each fee by email before you start, and we pay each video we accept in full with the next monthly payment. You also get your own link, which earns a commission when new labs sign up and pay. Who can apply
- Researchers, lab staff, students, teachers and science communicators.
- Video makers from outside research, as long as the video does not claim you work in research.
- If you buy or help choose research software or equipment for your employer, your commissions and video fees come as credit toward your lab's orders or plans instead of cash.
- You can join if you work for a hospital, a university or a government agency. Check your employer's, funder's and visa rules on outside work before you apply. You are responsible for disclosing any conflict.
The rules
- If you post a video yourself, say that we paid you.
- Say only what is true for you. Never claim you use a product if you do not.
- Use sample data. Never show real participants, children, patients, private records or unpublished results.
- Use only music and footage you have the right to use in paid ads.
- Get permission before you film at your institution or name it, and from anyone who appears in the video.

Questions
Do I need followers?
No. We can run your video as an ad from our own accounts, so you do not need an audience of your own.
Do I have to show my face?
No. A screen recording with your voice is fine.
Do I need a lab?
No. You can film anywhere. A free ConductCognition account and sample data are enough for most videos.
How much do you pay?
$200 to $500 a video, depending on what it covers. We agree the fee by email before you start, so you know it before you do any work. Nothing is owed for a video without that email.
What if you do not accept my video?
We can ask for up to two rounds of changes. If we still do not accept it, you keep the video and we owe no fee, unless our email says otherwise.
When do I get paid?
We pay once a month. Each video we accept is paid in full with the next monthly payment. The $100 minimum applies only to commissions. We need your payment and tax details before your first payment. If you live outside the United States, we work out by email how to pay you.
Who owns the video?
You do. When we accept it, you give us the right to edit it and use it in our marketing and paid ads, worldwide, on any channel, for 12 months, unless our email says otherwise. That covers your name, voice and image as they appear in the video. After that we start no new ads, and posts already up can stay.
Do I have to post the video myself?
No, unless our email asks you to. If you post it, say that we paid you.
