What viewers should learn

A language sample becomes numbers a clinician can track, such as mean length of utterance (MLU) and the number of different words.

Try it before you film

Open it first: Recorder on conductspeech.com. Recording needs no account, but the transcript and metrics need a free account, with no card. Sign in before you record: reloading the page loses a recording you have not sent.

Record yourself reading a sample you wrote, or type one in. Never show real participants, children, patients, private records or unpublished results. Get permission before you film at your school or workplace, or name it. The handbook has the rest.
